Children’s Alliance is first, a communication and support center for member organizations within Kansas. Because of their unique position separate from the government but supportive of all child welfare organizations, Children’s Alliance reaches out to other areas to share their knowledge and expertise.
Children’s Alliance of Kansas is the only association representing private, non-profit child welfare agencies. The association was established in 1954 to help agencies better serve the children of Kansas and their families. They play a pivotal role in facilitating the communication and coordination needed to have an effective continuum of coverage for the children and families of Kansas. Children’s Alliance works with 16 member agencies to coordinate activities and programming. Member agencies serve children and families throughout Kansas.
