Carpenter Place provides residential care for girls in crisis ages six to 24 in Wichita, KS. A faith-based agency, Carpenter Places provides services in a family setting in three group homes and eight single-bedroom apartments on a 13-acre campus.
For over 70 years, Carpenter Place (formerly Maude Carpenter Children’s Home), has been helping children in crisis. Today, it is an all-girls home, serving young ladies from six to 24 years old. Carpenter Place is located in Wichita, KS on 13 beautiful acres with three family style cottages and eight single bedroom apartments. As a faith-based agency, the goal is to provide a Christian home for girls who may be struggling with family issues, substance abuse, truancy, legal issues, broken adoptions, sexual exploitations, abandonment, homelessness, physical/emotional abuse, neglect and a host of other issues. They provide young ladies with support, structure and skills to overcome their life situations.
