Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children’s mission is to provide caring, trained volunteers to advocate for the abused and neglected children of our community so that each child can reach his or her full potential.

  • Serve as independent, objective observers gathering information from all pertinent parties in order to report that information to the Court Services Officer, SRS and Judge.
  • Speak for the child’s best interest in court by submitting formal reports which include background information, as well as recommendations regarding the child’s future.
  • Provide positive, caring role models for children.

CASA is a volunteer-powered network of committed people – from all walks of life – who believe society has a fundamental obligation to the abused and neglected children of the community. They are people just like you who believe that every child has a right to be treated with dignity, to be safe, and to thrive in the embrace of a loving family. The volunteers make up an organization of people who fight to make sure these children’s basic rights and essential needs don’t get overlooked or ignored in the system.
